I LOVE when I have repeat clients! I photographed this sweet little girl for her first birthday last year. It was so much fun to see how much she has grown in the past year (she was almost 2 in this session!) and to see this family again. The sun was shining and it was beautiful out but this particular fall day was extremely windy. The little girl, Vivian, was such a trooper. You can see from the wind blown hair and the pouty lip that she could only put up with so much of the wind before we had to find a different spot to finish the session. We did manage to get a few shots with the beautiful colorful mountains though:)
Just stopping by for a quick minute to share this awesome fall senior session before the babies wake up from their naps!
A beautiful girl, her horse and gorgeous light. This was a dream session for any photographer and I am so glad that I was able to capture these images for Victoria and her family! I loved everything about this session … but mostly the people:)
I met the Dillingham family at their house one evening last fall to document their two boys, Ethan and Aiden, at home playing with their toys and being boys. I have to say, this is one of my favorite sessions ever. I basically was able to hang out with these boys (who happen to be two of the most polite and well behaved boys I’ve ever met) for two hours and photograph what they do on a daily basis. Their toys, how they interact with each other, running up the stairs, playing with their ipad in bed and pillow fights. The whole time I couldn’t help but to feel right at home, just like when I am photographing my own boys.
I think everyone should do a lifestyle session at least once. In 20 years when your children are not children anymore these are the photos you are going to look back on. This is what you are going to remember. The everyday normal:)
I’m just starting to get back into the swing of blogging after a wonderfully crazy and busy fall season! First up is this sweet family. Scott and Melissa met me at Beaver Lake in North Asheville for some family photos. They were sweet, fun and so in love with each other and their little girl. This was one of the sweetest and kindest families I have ever photographed! Just look at all of the real feelings I was able to capture in all of these images.
Thank you so much for allowing me to hang out with you guys and photograph your adorable family. Really, I had the best time:)
It’s that time of year again for lots of fall family sessions! I love having the same families come back to me for family photos. I love seeing how much the children grow and mature. It is SO hard to believe its been a whole year since the McKee’s family session last year! Where does the time go?! Lucas doesn’t like the camera. At all. We had to get pretty creative and bribe him during the session. Props to Jaime for bringing candy corn and match box cars as bribes this year!;)
Thank you Jaime and Kenny for allowing me to capture your family once again this year! I loved seeing how much Lucas has grown and how smart he is. My three year old definitely doesn’t know what a rhombus is;)
