The Mull family is from south Florida and were on vacation in Asheville and wanted family photos taken with the beautiful mountain scenery. They went to visit the Biltmore Estate earlier in the day and came back that same evening for their session. I am SO glad they contacted me. Being a stay at home mom and photographer can sometimes be lonely with the lack of adult interaction so it’s always fun for me to get away for photos sessions, especially with people as fun and kind as this family! They were up for anything and I drug them around to a few different spots at the Estate. Thanks for being awesome you guys!:)
Alison is one of my oldest friends. We met back in elementary school and spent much of middle school and some of high school together! Her mom made a comment that Ali doesn’t do anything that isn’t big. Looking back on all the years I have known her I completely agree! If anyone was going to get pregnant with twins, it was going to be Ali:) I couldn’t have been any more excited when her parents contacted me about doing her maternity session. Not only was I excited to photograph her, I was excited to just get to see her! She looks absolutely beautiful pregnant and I couldn’t keep my hands off that belly! I can’t wait to photograph these two boys once they make their arrival into this world … hopefully not anytime soon though!
Last time I saw Amy, Matt and their two beautiful children I was photographing Birch’s newborn session! Birch was born just two weeks after my little boy and now here he is nine months old:) I LOVE shooting at the North Carolina Arboretum. There are so many different beautiful spots for a session and the possibilities are endless. We met here in July and the flowers were just beautiful. Charlotte’s white dress against the colorful flowers was just stunning. This is the third time I have photographed this family and each time I leave the session thinking about how much I like them! They are up for anything, happy and always so nice:) I had so much fun spending the afternoon with these four!
It was such an honor to be asked to photograph Tony and Iris’s wedding Ceremony at the UNCA Botanical Gardens. They wanted a small and intimate wedding surrounded by nature and that is exactly what they got. It was a short and sweet ceremony followed by some photographs of just the newlyweds afterwards. They were so happy and so in love. It was so amazing to witness just how much these two love each other. Immediately after all the photos were taken, they got in their car and headed to Florida for the week for their honeymoon! Thank you so much Tony and Iris for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I loved getting to know you guys:)
Kristen, Jacob and their two kids drove down to Asheville from VA to stay the night with us and take some family photos this past June. Kristen is a photographer herself (Kristen H Photography) and she took our family photos the following morning! We met in downtown Asheville and got started! They are such a fun and loving family. Regardless of whether their babies were happy or not, they were happy and laughing the entire time. Zepher and Piper, their two kids, are really close to the same age as our two kids so I was so excited that all of them were going to get to play together that night! We weren’t brave enough to take 4 babies under 3 out to eat, so we grabbed pizza from a local pizza place and headed home:) The next morning we woke up and headed back downtown so Kristen could photograph our family. She is such a talented photographer. Everyone go check her out at http://www.kristenhortonphoto.com :)
